Quilting is in my blood. My mom is a quilter who learned to sew and quilt from her grandmother. I grew up playing under the quilt frame as my mom quilted. I learned all kinds of needle crafts at a very young age, but quilting is the one that captured my heart. I actively began making and designing my own quilts nearly 40 years ago! I published my first quilt pattern in 2001 and have since published many patterns under the QP Designs name. After taking some time off, I'm now back to designing and writing patterns. Though I have done all kinds of quilting techniques, hand appliqué is my favorite. I love creating and designing quilts! I’m so excited to share with you my joy in creating for “the young & young at heart”!
