Welcome Little Bear Fans!
Little Bear is relaxing and doing one of his favorite things in this month's QBM theme.
Each month the Quilt Block Mania participating designers share a block pattern inspired by the month's theme. The pattern is free for the month. I'll be designing and giving away a block each month reflecting the Quilt Block Mania monthly theme, however, my block designs will also follow my Year of Bears theme. The QBM theme for July is "Books".
With his comfy slippers on and laying back on his big fluffy pillow, Little Bear is reading his favorite book. And to help him see clearly, he's wearing his reading glasses too.
Reading Bear is the free 12" block pattern I'm giving this month. This block pattern will only be free to download for the month of July. After that time, you'll be able to purchase the pattern in my online shop.

What will your Little Bear be reading? The pattern gives you "The 3 Bears", but feel free to change it.
I love Little Bears reading glasses. Adding the little details is so much fun!
Bonus Block
To commemorate the holiday, Little Bear is celebrating Fourth of July. He has his Uncle Sam hat and is waving sparklers! Patriotic Bear is the bonus block this month.
A red stripe works perfect for his hat. A blue fabric with tiny white stars would be ideal for the brim. Unfortunately, I didn't have one, but this works too.
