Polly's Pumpkin Patch - Start Here!

Polly's Pumpkin Patch - Start Here!

Long ago a gentle breeze swept through the sleepy countryside and whispered life into a scarecrow standing watch over a pumpkin field. That scarecrow was Miss Polly. She was originally made to scare away the unwanted critters, but somehow, she became a friend to all instead.

Miss Polly isn’t your ordinary scarecrow. She has a knack for humming lullabies to sleepy sunflowers, telling stories to curious birds, and coaxing even the shyest pumpkins to grow. With her wide brimmed hat and calico dress, she welcomes guests to the farm each Autumn.

Welcome to Polly’s Pumpkin Patch - Where Autumn Comes to Life!

🍂🍂🍂

Welcome to the Patch!

I'm so excited to introduce Polly's Pumpkin Patch Sew Along. This quilt block collection features all the fun of a breezy fall day visit to a country pumpkin patch. Each appliqué block will reveal a bit more about the farm. There will be lots of happy sunflowers and pumpkins, whimsical farm scenes and a few critter friends along the way... and not to be forgotten, Miss Polly!

Polly's Pumpkin Patch will be part of my free monthly block pattern give-away. Join the fun as Miss Polly makes her August debut. Read on for more details.

  • This quilt uses lots of prints and colors in small quantities, plus a neutral background making it a great quilt to pull from your stash and scraps.
  • When choosing fabrics, think fall; pumpkins, sunflowers, fall leaves, etc. Here's a photo of my initial fabric pull. Some may not get used and I may still add others, but this is how I start. You'll notice in the photo that I added reds and teals. These I will use throughout as a pop of extra color.

Ik had het patroon van de muis op facebook voorbij zien komen. Wat een allerliefst patroon. Deze ga ik zeker kopen. Ook deze blokken ga ik proberen. Het ziet er veel belovend uit.
