Block 8 is made up of the appliqué portion, one star block and one embroidery panel. Complete instructions for making Block 8 are found in the pattern.
In this final block, there isn't any special instructions to give. If you've made it this far, this block will be more of the same. I loved including the gnome in this design. Hope you love him too.
When you finish this final block, you are now ready to put it all together! You can get the Border and Setting instructions in a free pattern. Complete instructions for setting the blocks, making the cornerstones and sewing the borders are found in the pattern.

Sewing the blocks together should be fairly simple. The cornerstones are a repeat of the same star block used in the quilt except the size and fabric placement are different. So, the cutting instructions will be different but the basic construction is the same. Sewing the star cornerstones to the border units, then sewing the border units to the quilt top will finish this quilt! Yay!
