July reveals the last two blocks!
Lets take a final peek...
Butterfly Chat
We all need a good friend chat now and then. These two are having a relaxing moment together.
Stitching Tips
- Lets talk about the butterfly. Though I satin stitched some simple spots, these wing are perfect for embellishing. Choose some fun fabrics or embellish with spots. lines etc. Not up for embroidery, try some permanent markers. Have fun with this one.

And lastly a little fun....
All Dressed Up
Playing dress up is so much fun. These little flowers make the perfect dress and hats for these garden friends.
Stitching Tips
- These flowers have lots of inner points. If you're hand appliquéing these inner points can be challenging. Inner points need a single deeper clip. Before clipping, apply a small dot of Fray Check in the seam allowance point near the template. This will help keep fabric from fraying. Allow Fray Check to dry, then clip into the point, stopping a few threads from the freezer paper template.

- How about inner curves? On inner curved areas, make small clips close together, extending half-way into the seam allowance. This will allow the seam allowance to lay flat when folded over. The tighter the curve the closer together the clips should be.
