April reveals two more blocks!
Garden Mouse is having some fun! Lets take a peek...
Just Swinging
Garden Mouse, what are you doing? Just swinging...weeeee............. Is Miss Spider just hanging around watching or is she swinging along from her web? Just looking at this happy face makes me smile. I can almost hear the sweet squeals and giggles.
Stitching Tips
- Though I decided to make my little spider brown, I wanted to fancy her up a bit, so I decided to fussy cut a fabric design for her body. I think it makes the spider much more interesting. You could also, give it some color. Remember, this is a fantasy garden, so it doesn't have to be realistic. Have fun. For the head, I kept it simple and satin stitched it.

I love this happy little face!

Turtle Loves Strawberries

Stitching Tips
- Hand appliquéing the turtle mouth can be a bit challenging. I recommend a small dot of Fray Check at the inner point of the mouth before clipping. One clip straight in almost to the template and then small, not so deep clips around the inner curve. If you need to, you can open up turtle's mouth a bit more. Just take it slow if you're pressing edges under or needle turn stitching. Use small stitches, close together.
